What Ascend covers
Six areas of facility operations, running on one schedule and one set of records.
- Court scheduling
- A reservation covers one court or several and is priced across all of them. Recurring bookings are created as a series, with each date checked against operating hours, the booking window, and existing reservations.
- Events
- Clinics and one-off events get their own block on the schedule, spanning as many courts as needed. Players register and pay per person, and the event reschedules as a single unit rather than booking by booking.
- Payments
- A lesson payment is divided between the coach, the facility, and Ascend when it's charged. Court rentals accumulate through the month and are issued as one invoice per renter.
- Lessons
- Coaches publish availability and a rate. Group sessions carry a price per person and a capacity, and players register and pay individually. Registration closes when the session reaches capacity.
- Online booking
- Booking pages exist for the facility, each club, and each coach, using your branding. Every page has a shareable link and a printable QR code.
- Facility access
- Access is granted to a club or to an individual. An individual grant is independent of any club and carries its own rate, its own set of courts, and its own set of booking types.
Correctness
How it behaves at the edges
The parts that matter once a real schedule and real money are moving through the system.
Conflict checking
Availability is re-checked when a booking saves, not when the page loaded. Two simultaneous bookings for the same court cannot both succeed.
Reconciliation
Bookings, payouts, and fees are matched against Stripe. Discrepancies are graded by severity and export to Excel.
Time zones
Each facility stores its own time zone. Bookings are recorded in the facility's local time regardless of where they were made.
Rate resolution
A club rate, an individual rate, or a court default resolves when the booking is priced. No rate is entered by hand at booking time.
